No I’m not talking about purging food, lol, I’m talking getting rid of stuff I don’t need/want. I’ve been reading all these organizing blogs and FlyLady stuff and I’ve been meaning to purge useless crap but I’m a procrastinator first and mild packrat second. Can you believe I’m married to a neat freak, miracle he loves me at all, lol!
Anyways, we have 4 tall bookshelves that have drawers at bottom, one has a desk like section but still you get the idea. So last night after work the hubby decided it’s time, we need to get this done and asap. We conquered the mess and ended up with practically nothing left but 7 35lb bags of crap we no longer needed/wanted. I was pretty drained since I did 3 of them myself but I don’t want to deal with stuff anymore I just want the house as simple as can be.
Now I just need to my computer room and dressing room. Thanks to all these nifty organizing blog ladies I feel motivated. I know, but will I be able to keep it up? Good question but I think I’ll manage to do it…

Well I succombed to the pressure, I know it was basically my own pressure but still. Anyways, I am now the proud owner of a shiny new black Zune mp3 player, and yes I uploaded a Daniel Craig Casino Royale pic for the background. 
I know by now you’re thinking I’ve gone mad wasting my money on something I was upset about yesterday that doesn’t play the type of media I usually download. Well I discovered the greatest little software that alters those pesky DRM files to mp3′s lickity split! If you have an iPod or Zune and have been frustrated that it doesn’t let you play certain DRM files I highly suggest getting SoundTaxi Pro! It’s only $25 but it’s faster than their cheaper version that only does 2 files at a time at 6x speed.
So I’m off to finishing uploading more goodies to my new shiny baby!

I know what more could a girl want! I’m bored and feeling just, well blah, luckily I don’t have much to do today. :)
I’m totally envious of my hubby’s new Zune, why must he taunt me shiny new toys! Well I’m distraught because me, girl with money in hand can’t get it, wait I can but it’s well, too much. Okay, let me back up and explain so the guys understand what my girlish jibber is all about, teehee. I like to download audiobooks from the library and well the Zune isn’t supported, bastards of Microsoft are evil. Seems Microsoft decided they don’t need to support their own creations in DRM Windows Media audio files. Therefore I would have to actually record each book with another program just to upload it to a Zune, hence MS are evil bastards for this. Yes I know there are other players, I have a Creative Zen but damnit all to hell that hubby taunted me with a shiny toy I can’t use without it being a pain in the @ss!
Oh well, I guess I’ll go confort myself with getting 6 more bottles of free LaVictoria salsa. Heck maybe I’ll stop by CVS and see if they got the Nova Sure glucose monitor in stock since I can get it for free and get $20 in CVS bucks back, since I already got $60 back for free.

Walgreen’s had the Nutrisse Hair Color on sale for B1G1 Free, one box is $7.49, well in Sunday’s paper there was also a B1G1 Free coupon! That meant I ended up with 12 (I had 6 coupons) boxes of Nutrisse Hair Color for the price of taxes only which was a whopping $2.48 for all 12!
I love the thought of a freebie that I really use and need!

Okay, my job is mundane but I still need to maintain focus and accuracy, so I usually listen to Adam Carolla and Chuck Powell’s Morning Ritual then some talk radio that gets my blood pressure to high, and I start spacing out. (Not a hard thing for me if you know me, lol!) Anyways, I really love the Dresden Files that Sci-fi chose not to renew, bastards put Flash Gordon instead, whatever! So I decided to get the audiobooks that the show was based on and give them a listen since I really loved the show and the only audiobook experience I had was the Harry Potter books which kept me riveted to my seat in anticipation and focused on what I was keying at work. Well I wasn’t let down in the least, Jim Butcher, the author of Dresden Files is awesome which I already knew but even better, James Marsters aka Spike of Buffy the Vampire fame was the narrator! I must say he does a great job reading, but I still prefer Paul Blackthorne, he’s my one and only Harry Dresden!
Anyways, you’re probably wondering when I’m going to get to the point, right? Well I’m in audiobook heaven because I discovered a whole new genre of books, and I get them for FREE! That’s right for FREE, I just got myself a card to my local library and wala, free audiobooks! Granted they don’t have everything, but it’s better than buying them or renting them.

My sister and I went Friday night to David’s Bridal so I could try on dresses and find some decent heels for me. Lord knows I could easily kill myself in a set of heels! We didn’t find shoes there but I did find those elsewhere.

I’ve known for a while now that my younger sister was getting married but it’s becoming more official now if you will. The date is set, dress is waiting alterations and I finally got the day off. Now I get to pick out a dress in a latte mocha chocolate color scheme, here are some dresses I’ve been checking out from David’s Bridal.
