Just barely 5 months ago I celebrated 15 years of being with the man I love and cherish. I cannot describe how wonderful it is to be married to him. It’s beyond bliss and something so beautiful that no words can describe. I love that we know each so intimately that nothing could tear us apart. We are best friends, companions, lovers and soul mates. I have never known a more loving man that wasn’t scared to stand by my side and allow me to do the things I always wanted to do. It’s so amazing to have such a secure relationship without the drama of doubts and jealous thoughts. We’ve both had that in that past relationships and from day one we both decided this was it, we were meant for each other and we would grow old together. So far it’s been one adventure after another and I hope to have many more to come.

We’ve been through hell and back with people planting doubt left and right and because we know each other so well, we just laugh the naysayers off. We have both had heartache and tragedy in our lives and grew from it as strong caring people. It took all of it to bring us together and walk hand in hand, loving every day that we have together and the ones yet to come. It sickens me when strangers who claim they know us speak ill of us to mutual acquaintances. Yes, said strangers may have known of us many moons ago but they never took the time to befriend us or become part of our family. I couldn’t have said it better than this verse from Psalms.

Master’s degree in double speak?

It’s amazing I never knew that such a degree existed, must be from UofL (Univ. of Liars) for you pre-caffeine readers. It’s amazing how a person can distort words and variate a story depending on the person or situation just to make themselves have a greater sense of worth. I mean seriously, isn’t there something the Doc can give these types to chill out and live their life in reality? How does a person like that even keep with their multiple stories? Do they have a pretty journal they made all themselves from a summer camp class once upon a time? Or are they cataloging amongst their multiple personalities? Whatever it is they do it’s obviously not working so great.

I can’t hang with those types of people, I’m sorry I can’t, it weighs heavy on my soul. I’m a simple gal who loves her family and friends and cares deeply for them. It’s heartbreaking to see crazies like those above try to mess with my family or friends for pure amusement. I see no point in befriending malicious people who are all about themselves and what they can do to destroy those they perceive as enemies because they interrupted their so called life.

If I’ve interrupted anyone’s life get over it… Everything that happens in life is for a reason. Learn from it. Move on from it. Grow from it. Be a better person because of it. If you can’t do that and see the good things in life from every lesson then what’s the point.

Stop the hate and try learning who you are not who you think you should be for each person for once in your life.

Okay I was recently asked by someone why I dogged them at a store. Easy… You cut all your damn hair off and didn’t look like you. I had to ask the person I was with if that was you or not because I never thought you’d ditch the hair. Nothing sinister just a couple of us out shopping and thinking you had a doppleganger out in the world.

Funny how people freak over and intent to the most meaningless things in life.

Wii + Netflix = Love

I am completely ecstatic right now! I just found out that I don’t need to spend any money on a Netflix device! This spring you can watch Netflix via your Nintendo Wii! Be sure to login to Netflix and request your FREE Netflix Live Streaming Disc. I can watch Dr. Who instantly anytime I want!

You know I just realized this just got better because I forgot all about the Sports & Fitness section in the Watch Instantly section. Now I can change up my workouts with my mood. They have a ton of Crunch Fitness videos which are pretty good.

And for all my friends who have kids, the children’s section is pretty nice looking as well. Perfect for those days you just can’t find a fun family movie to watch! I don’t know if I can’t wait much longer for my Netflix Live Streaming Disc to watch movies on my Nintendo Wii.

Recovering and preparing for a move

Well I’m on week 2 almost of my recovery from my dreaded surgery and I’m feeling alright for the most.

Now if I could just relax and be comfortable with our upcoming move. I’m still hoping a last minute job in town otherwise the two of us will accept our job relocation and live happily ever after in a new town. I suppose the plus is the two of us work at the same place and our job has an awesome relocation package that is really hard to refuse.

It’s Thursday and I’m jonesing for a new episode of Supernatural!

Vanity numbers blow…

*Edit* I found fix for this so thanks. In this day and age of Blackberry’s and other qwerty phones when will businesses realize that having a vanity number like 111-SAVE or similar are useless. Do you know how damn sad it is that I have to call GOOG-411 on speed dial to find out what your damn number is when your website shows the same damn thing? Seriously, if I call the number like you list it I don’t get your company at because my phone is better than your average phone? For pete’s sake people get with the times and stop thinking you’re really cute and savvy, you’re pissing off people and losing business because I’m jumping though hoops to get your number if you’re not able to supply your last 4 digits. I will gladly take my business elsewhere that I can easily get access to their number in case I need directions or store hours.

I know I’m not alone in this pesky dilemna but I wish someone would find a quick fix for it or companies just include the damn info on their cards and site.

Blast from the past

Last night we got to attend a private get together at the new club that has its grand opening next week and let me just say it was awesome! It’s always fun seeing a club our friend Steve does as he does all the interior design and no club is as good his, at least locally. It was really great seeing Markus Schulz & his lovely wife Heather again before he played at Cream, sorry I couldn’t make it but hanging out with him was just as good. It was fun to see so many of our old friends from the Works and even those from the rave scene, especially Scotty. Scotty is by far my fave to chat with, he always makes me laugh and has tons of interesting things to chat about. Heck we even convinced Mr. Doug to come over and hang with Markus and shoot the breeze before he headed out to Cream for Markus’ midnight set. And I definitely had a good laugh when Mr. Doug told us how a stupid girl told him to convince the two of us that she moved backed to Phoenix. roflmao Nice try but I know you’re nothing but a spiteful liar hoping to feel important but sadly for you, you’re nothing but a pathetic joke. Keep on trying all you want, we don’t care and why you insist on telling mutual friends to “inform/tell” us your bullshit is beyond me but it makes for a mutual laugh between us all at your own expense. I’d post pics but I don’t want ms. pathetic girl to see them.

G15 and BB Radio

Today has been a really good day so far, especially since it’s a paid holiday for me and I also have weekends off. I’ve been playing UT3 and I still had my HP keyboard which is nice but it’s not a gaming keyboard. So I hitched a ride with the hubby to Fry’s since he was going there and I got myself a Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard.

Oh and while I was there I picked up a copy of Gold’s Gym Cardio Workout for the Wii. I have to get myself ready for some upcoming events that I want to look my best for.

Then after all that came my favorite thing of all that will save me at least $200 and it was FREE! Okay maybe I should explain myself before I get too excited. I currently have a Zune 30, hubby is tempting me with his Zune 120 which I really need more than 30gb. Anyways I caught wind that MS is getting ready to release the Zune HD mp3 player that has HD Radio on it and I need clear AM reception for my talk shows and my walkman radio isn’t that great for AM. Well I was curious to hear the quality of a BlackBerry app called IHeartRadio. I heard it advertised on my fave AM station so I knew that wasn’t a problem so I decided to check it out and download it to my BB. Let me just say it was crystal clear streaming radio! I love it and now I will be getting the Zune 120 instead of the Zune HD which will cost a pretty penny and I don’t even know if it will pick up all HD stations. Besides the HD 32gb will cost about $50 more than the Zune 120 from what I hear and if 30gb isn’t enough I know 2 more isn’t going to be much help. So if you’re a BB lover go check out the link I just mentioned and try it out on your BB.

Young adult or teen books

Normally I don’t get into young adult or teen books but a few have been recommended by trust worthy sources and am I glad they did! I am an audio book junkie, I mean come on something has to fill my 8hrs of work that seems like an eternity. And trust me, I’ve had my fill of politics so I listen to audio books 40 hours a week. Anyways, I’ve done the typical Harry Potter and Twilight but I had no idea I’d listen to any that weren’t in your face mainstream for the masses type of books. Well along came the strongly pushed recommendation of a cute series called Magic in Manhattan by Sarah Mlynowski and it really is too cute not to listen to or read. I couldn’t hit stop on the audio book, I listened to the first 4 in a week and I can’t wait for the next one! I told my sister about it and she msg’d me on my BB to tell me she loved it so much she was on book 2 already. Okay back to my original thought, young adult books, there really a fun way to pass the time when you’re out of your more intense books. I am now starting another cute series called Suddenly Supernatural which I hear is a really fun read/listen as well.

So what I’m trying to say is don’t get frustrated when you’re out of your fave series. Try something new and fresh if only for a chance to have a light hearted yet fun time.

Blue Sam is the Man!

I’m an avid audio book listener and while I adore my Zune 30 I’ve always hated that it didn’t have resume capabilities for audio books. Well that is now officially a worry of the past thanks to my tech hero of the day, Blue Sam! He has a very simple audio book to podcast Zune hack for audio book lovers and it doesn’t cost a thing and takes mere seconds to do. I am truly grateful of people like Sam who make me love my Zune a little more. The only downfall is you won’t have the book cover unless you actually go through the podcast rss steps and at that point you won’t need this hack but you might have some legal problems if the book is under copyright. So I can deal with no book cover so long as I have my coveted resume feature.

Now I just need to upgrade to the Zune 120 thanks to my dear hubby and sister mocking my old school 1st gen Zune 30. I probably should bite the bullet and upgrade since I have to keep removing things to upload more.
