It’s amazing how sad public radio is when you’re spoiled with an mp3 player and the sounds your prefer your ears be blessed with. I guess it wasn’t that bad but I didn’t last 4 hours at work until I left, with permission of course. :)

So what is your first project for the New Year?

I for one am taking on a new craft room in my massive sized computer room, I’m really excited about this and I’ll be getting my setup from Ikea! So far I’m at $240 for a nice L-shaped desk w/ 2 storage units and 2 sets of some cute mini chest of drawers that I plan on painting white and decoupaging pretty paper on the front of the drawers.

I’ve been reading all these organizing blogs and FlyLady stuff and I’ve been meaning to purge useless crap but I’m a procrastinator first and mild packrat second. Can you believe I’m married to a neat freak, miracle he loves me at all, lol!

Anyways, we have 4 tall bookshelves that have drawers at bottom, one has a desk like section but still you get the idea. So last night after work the hubby decided it’s time, we need to get this done and asap. We conquered the mess and ended up with practically nothing left but 7 35lb bags of crap we no longer needed/wanted. I was pretty drained since I did 3 of them myself but I don’t want to deal with stuff anymore I just want the house as simple as can be.

Now I just need to my computer room and dressing room. Thanks to all these nifty organizing blog ladies I feel motivated. I know, but will I be able to keep it up? Good question but I think I’ll manage to do it…
