Last night we got to attend a private get together at the new club that has its grand opening next week and let me just say it was awesome! It’s always fun seeing a club our friend Steve does as he does all the interior design and no club is as good his, at least locally. It was really great seeing Markus Schulz & his lovely wife Heather again before he played at Cream, sorry I couldn’t make it but hanging out with him was just as good. It was fun to see so many of our old friends from the Works and even those from the rave scene, especially Scotty. Scotty is by far my fave to chat with, he always makes me laugh and has tons of interesting things to chat about. Heck we even convinced Mr. Doug to come over and hang with Markus and shoot the breeze before he headed out to Cream for Markus’ midnight set. And I definitely had a good laugh when Mr. Doug told us how a stupid girl told him to convince the two of us that she moved backed to Phoenix. roflmao Nice try but I know you’re nothing but a spiteful liar hoping to feel important but sadly for you, you’re nothing but a pathetic joke. Keep on trying all you want, we don’t care and why you insist on telling mutual friends to “inform/tell” us your bullshit is beyond me but it makes for a mutual laugh between us all at your own expense. I’d post pics but I don’t want ms. pathetic girl to see them.

That’s right baby, I just got 2 smoking hot tickets for me and my man to see the hunky Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode! Well I don’t think my man thinks Dave is all that hunky but he likes Depeche Mode too so its all good! I wonder what precious attire Martin will be sporting for this tour, he always brings a smile to my face. The bad thing about our hot seats is that he will be behind me but we ended up that way last year too so I suppose it’s better than nothing.

So if you’re in Phoenix Aug. 23rd give me a shout!

Shiny gadgets and software

Well I succombed to the pressure, I know it was basically my own pressure but still. Anyways, I am now the proud owner of a shiny new black Zune mp3 player, and yes I uploaded a Daniel Craig Casino Royale pic for the background.

I know by now you’re thinking I’ve gone mad wasting my money on something I was upset about yesterday that doesn’t play the type of media I usually download. Well I discovered the greatest little software that alters those pesky DRM files to mp3’s lickity split! If you have an iPod or Zune and have been frustrated that it doesn’t let you play certain DRM files I highly suggest getting SoundTaxi Pro! It’s only $25 but it’s faster than their cheaper version that only does 2 files at a time at 6x speed.

So I’m off to finishing uploading more goodies to my new shiny baby!

I know what more could a girl want! I’m bored and feeling just, well blah, luckily I don’t have much to do today. :)

I’m totally envious of my hubby’s new Zune, why must he taunt me shiny new toys! Well I’m distraught because me, girl with money in hand can’t get it, wait I can but it’s well, too much. Okay, let me back up and explain so the guys understand what my girlish jibber is all about, teehee. I like to download audiobooks from the library and well the Zune isn’t supported, bastards of Microsoft are evil. Seems Microsoft decided they don’t need to support their own creations in DRM Windows Media audio files. Therefore I would have to actually record each book with another program just to upload it to a Zune, hence MS are evil bastards for this. Yes I know there are other players, I have a Creative Zen but damnit all to hell that hubby taunted me with a shiny toy I can’t use without it being a pain in the @ss!

Oh well, I guess I’ll go confort myself with getting 6 more bottles of free LaVictoria salsa. Heck maybe I’ll stop by CVS and see if they got the Nova Sure glucose monitor in stock since I can get it for free and get $20 in CVS bucks back, since I already got $60 back for free.

Awaiting the Hourglass

Yes, that voice that has enticed me for over a decade now is returning with his second solo album, Hourglass. Yep, you heard correctly, Dave Gahan, Depeche Mode frontman, is getting ready to capture the hearts yet again of his faithful fans this fall.

Oh I forgot to mention, Dave has an official YouTube site, he’s a got a message for the masses!
